We reported to you earlier this week that Devin Ebanks was on the workout trail. He worked out for the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, but left town without a contract offer. His next stop was Dallas for a workout with the Mavs.
Alex Kennedy of HOOPSWORLD reported that the Mavs signed Ebanks to a deal on Friday afternoon. Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team, but Tim McMahon of ESPN.com reports that it is a nonguaranteed contract. Ebanks will join the Mavs for training camp, but essentially he received a training camp invite only.
This brings the Mavs roster to 19 players. Of those players, only Shawn Marion and Jae Crowder are small forwards.
