After a tremendous start to the CFL season, Jock Sanders has hit a rough patch but maintains a positive attitude.
In his second full season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Sanders won the job as the starting kick returner for the team. Over the course of the first several weeks, Sanders played very well, even winning the CFL's Special Teams Player of the Week Award for Week 2. Before the last two weeks, Sanders ranked behind only Noel Devine of the Montreal Alouettes for total return yardage.
He had a tough outing two weeks ago, followed up by a two fumble performance last week that saw him get pulled from the game during the second half.
In this video from Green TV, Sanders talks about keeping his head up and controlling what he can control.
