Week 8 saw some great plays from our WVU Pros, including two defensive touchdowns. We won't keep you waiting. Check out how they did.
Keith Tandy: Tandy got the week started on Thursday night as his Buccaneers lost, 31-13, to the Panthers. Tandy had 4 tackles as he stepped in at safety for injured Dashon Goldston. It was Tandy's first career start and he recorded two tackles on the first drive.
Najee Goode: Goode scored his first NFL TD Sunday after recovering a fumble and returning it for the score. His touchdown was the only score for the Eagles as they lost, 15-7 to the Giants.
Terence Garvin: Garvin had a tackle in the Steelers 21-18 loss to the Raiders. It brings his season total to 5.
Geno Smith: Smith had an off-day after beating the Patriots last week. He finished 20/30 for 159 yards and 2 INTs that were pick sixes. One was to another WVU Pros.
Ellis Lankster: Lankster had three tackles in the Jets 49-9 loss to the Bengals. That brings his season total to 10.
Adam "Pacman" Jones: Jones had a big day against two of his Mountaineers. He picked off Geno Smith for a pick six. He also had 7 tackles after getting more playing time with Leon Hall out with injury. Jones is expected to get extended playing time because of his performance and Hall being out.
Don Barclay: Barclay, who has been catching flak lately for his play, was given another start and some praise. Barclay got out in space and made some nice blocks in the running game in the Packers 44-31 victory over the Vikings on Sunday Night Football.
Tavon Austin: Austin seemed to be under utilized once again in the Rams offense. He caught two passes, one for 12 yards and one for a negative gain to finish with 9 yards receiving. He also had three kick returns for a 26.3 average and three punt returns for a 2.3 yard average.
Bruce Irvin: Irvin had one of the best games of his career and the best showing since moving to linebacker. He finished second on the team with nine tackles on the night. One of those was a sack, giving him 2.0 for the season and 10.0 for his career. He also had an interception, the first of his career.
