Several WVU Pros were in action Saturday night. Let's take a look at how they all did in their second week of the preseason.
Tavon Austin hauled in 4 passes for 28 yards but was targeted seven times, including twice near the endzone and once on a deep ball.
Stedman Bailey was targeted twice in the first half but didn't haul any passes in.
Don Barclay started the game for the Packers at right tackle. He played the whole first drive and then came back in later in the second quarter with the second team offense. Barclay worked with the first team in practice late in the week before the game. The Packers won 19-7 over the Rams, moving to 1-1 on the preseason. The Rams fell to 0-2.
Darius Reynaud had a decent night in the return game. He returned one punt for 15 yards and one kickoff for 39 yards. Unlike last week, Reynaud didn't get involved in the run game or the passing game.
Adam "PacMan" Jones finished with one tackle. Much like last week, Jones didn't return any kicks or punts for the Bengals. His Bengals won 27-19, moving to 2-0 on the preseason and dropping the Titans to 0-2.
Ellis Lankster got into the game in the second half for the Jets. He finished with 2 tackles for the defense as the Jets won big, 37-13, improving to 1-1 on the preseason.
Jeff Braun suited up for his first preseason game with the Miami Dolphins. He took some reps at left guard as the fourth quarter was winding down. The Dolphins lost 24-17 and fell to 1-2.
Bruce Irvin didn't play again this week with as he was out with a groin injury. Geno Smith also sat out with an ankle injury.
